Acceptance of These Terms

These terms apply to netspeedm.com (the "website") and to the Windows apps published by Zero Byte Software Solutions ("Zero Byte", "we", "us") on the Microsoft Store (the "apps"). By using the website or an app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use them.

Using the Website

You may read, link to and share the website's pages. Please do not copy large parts of our guides or screenshots to republish them as your own, try to break or overload the website, or use it for anything unlawful. The text, images, logos and app names on the website belong to Zero Byte unless stated otherwise. Microsoft, Windows and the Microsoft Store are trademarks of Microsoft Corporation; other names belong to their owners.

Guides are written carefully and checked against current versions of Windows, but Windows changes over time. Follow steps at your own discretion, and back up important data before changing system settings.

App Licenses

Each app is licensed to you, not sold, under the Microsoft Store's Standard Application License Terms (or license terms shown on the app's Store page), together with these terms. You may install and use an app on the Windows devices allowed by the Microsoft Store for your account. You may not reverse engineer, resell or redistribute the apps, or remove notices from them, except where the law allows it.

Some apps help you use your own data and networks, such as saved Wi-Fi passwords or downloaded videos. Use these features only for devices, networks and content you own or have permission to use, and follow the terms of the services you connect to.

Purchases, Subscriptions & Refunds

Pro upgrades, Premium subscriptions and paid apps are sold by Microsoft through the Microsoft Store. Prices, taxes, billing, renewals, cancellation and refunds are governed by the Microsoft Store terms and Microsoft's refund policy. Refund requests go through your Microsoft account; we do not process payments or refunds ourselves. Free features stay free. We may add, change or improve paid features; when we do, what you already bought as a one-time purchase stays available for that app.

Privacy

How the apps and the website handle data is described in our privacy policy, which is part of these terms. In short: the apps keep your data on your device and contain no telemetry.

Disclaimer

The website and apps are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. Speed readings, test results, battery and hardware values and similar information depend on Windows, your hardware and third-party services, and may not always be exact. Cleanup and file tools act on your instructions; they use the Recycle Bin and backups where described, but you are responsible for reviewing what you remove and for keeping backups of important data.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent the law allows, Zero Byte is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits or business, arising from the use of the website or apps. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the app or upgrade concerned in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be excluded.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms when the website or apps change. The "Last updated" date at the top shows the latest version. Continuing to use the website or apps after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, without affecting the mandatory consumer rights of the country where you live. We will always try to resolve any concern with you directly first.
